This Privacy Policy describes how Eggnest (“we,” “us”) handles information when you visit eggnest.com, join the prerelease waitlist, or otherwise interact with this website.

Eggnest is a local-first personal finance app in prerelease. This policy covers eggnest.com only. When the Eggnest app launches, a separate in-app privacy policy will describe how data is handled on your device.

Waitlist signups. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can send launch updates and early-access invitations.

Abuse prevention for the waitlist. We store a one-way hash of your IP address when you submit the waitlist form. We do not store your raw IP address in the waitlist database.

Optional bot protection. If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile may process interaction signals to verify that a waitlist submission is human. Turnstile is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy terms.

Anonymous site analytics. We count aggregate daily page and section views through a first-party endpoint. Analytics storage holds only the date, page path (for example /#pricing), and a running count. Analytics does not receive your waitlist email, financial data, cookies, or individual visitor profiles.

We do not collect financial account data, transaction history, budgets, categories, or email inbox contents through this website.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party marketing analytics on eggnest.com.

We do not sell personal information collected through this website.

Waitlist emails are used to communicate about Eggnest’s launch, beta access, and related product updates you reasonably expect after signing up.

Hashed IP addresses help us detect abusive waitlist submissions. They are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Aggregate analytics help us understand which landing-page sections are useful so we can improve the site before launch.

eggnest.com is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with signups stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes network traffic necessary to deliver the site and API.

When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the waitlist form from automated abuse.

We require service providers to handle data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Waitlist records are kept until you ask us to remove your email or until they are no longer needed for launch communications, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

Analytics aggregates are retained as running daily counts and are not tied to identifiable individuals.

You can choose not to join the waitlist. Browsing eggnest.com without submitting the form limits collection to anonymous aggregate analytics.

Eggnest is designed so your financial data stays encrypted on your own device. The Eggnest app does not build a vendor cloud data lake of your spending. Website practices described here are separate from, and narrower than, the app’s local-first architecture.

We may update this Privacy Policy as eggnest.com and the prerelease program evolve. We will revise the effective date when we do.
